10-16-2011 - Zachary Quinto Comes Out. So, the guy who is playing the new Spock is gay. Look, I have no issues with peoples preference, no matter how against it I am. You live your life, fine. Star Trek is also no stranger to Gay actors (The actor who played Kirks son was gay before he died of AIDS) and of course George Takei is gay (Played Sulu). I am just sick of hearing about this EVERY DAY. I want equal share of people realizing they are straight. IF I have to hear about homosexuality constantly, I want equal parts of Straight talk. It is a sad day for all computer enthusiasts. Not just Apple lovers, but ALL OS and PC lovers. Steve Jobs is/was a genius is pushing the evelope, and though he was a tyrant at times, he still garnered respect. I feel sad. I really, really do. Steve Jobs passed away too young. Though he succumbed to a disease (as is the rumor), he was still a strong vibrant man. Gospeed, Steve Jobs. You will be missed. In all honesty, I think he knew his time here was limited ever since he was young, and he wanted to make things happen fast and efficient. Job well done.

10-4-2011 - Talk about a Vulcan Grip! My experience of Star Trek happened about 25 years go with my Dad. He had some old shows on VHS and he was watching them in the living when I walked by. I asked if I could watch, he said yes, and I was hooked. A couple of years later, The Next Generation debuted and my days as a Trekker/Trekkie (whatever you wanna call me) solidified. It is sad to hear that Nimoy will no longer attend Star Trek conventions, however, he has given most of his life to the franchise, and for this, I amm grateful. Live Long and Prosper Nimoy, you deserve it. In celebration, I will be having a Star Trek Marathon shortly.

9-22-2011 - Guess what premieres tonight? No, I am not talking about that great mindless debate called The Republican Debate that is on tonight. I have better things to do, like watch plants grow. Luckily, instead of the excitement of plants, we get the season 8 premiere of THE OFFICE!!!! Oh, yeah. Look, I love Steve Carell, and he could never be replaced. Although, Ed Helms will do his best. I still want to see how the Season 8 open turns out. I have no expectations that after this season The Office will continue, but I still want to watch this season 8 until the very end. That's what she USED to say!

9-17-2011 - World's Best Boss deserves BETTER! Steve Carell lost again! The guy deserves a damn Emmy. That is the bottom line. To give it to a guy who really didn't deserve it at ALL is sad. Was the Emmy's shown on ABC? Nope, it was broadcast on FOX. You would think ABC broadcast it, though. Modern Family tooks many honors. I am sad right now. Michael Scott will never get no respect.

9-16-2011 - Snyder says Superman doesn't fly in Man of Steel! Can you believe this?! According to some random guy posting on the internet, Superman doesn't fly! At all. This source, of course, is only guessing and speculating. As do many people in the web do. Look, there is nothing wrong with speculation. That is all we have at the moment. Speculation isn't bad, and it is not good either, but to speculate on every little thing, it just doesn't make sense. I am guilty of this too. Do I like Snyder? No, do I think Cavill looks like Superman, no. However, in no way can I say this movie is going to be horrible, because you know what? The movie is not out YET and this movie may be epic. This movie could be the new definitive Superman. Look, Snyder has not impressed me at all. However, he may do so with this movie. 300 and Watchmen put him on the map. Man of Steel could define him. For me, I am tired of analyzing every piece of info we get. What happened to just WATCHING the movie then making our assessments? Now, with internet and behind the scenes pics and "insider" knowledge, we can no longer anticipate the movie, we have to break everything down, and from very little info. When I start reading that Superman will not fly because they do not see wires, or Clark Kent does not wear glasses because we have a few pics without them (which I have even commented on the 'no glasses pics' and wrongfully so) it gets out of hand. No, I will not jump on the bandwagon and say this movie will be awesome just because it has the name Superman. However, I am not going to rip it apart. Both sides need to tone it down. No one knows if it will be epic, medciocre or just downright terrible. Look, for those who do not like Snyder's movies, this movie may be the game changer. Those who do love his movie, this is not supposed to be a typical Snyder film. Only one way to find out. Wait until 2013 and watch the movie.

9-14-2011 - Zod Suit. Well, Kryptonian Apparently. Here is Zod's suit. It is of course a black version of Superman's suit. Although, this actor resembles Shannon, I do not think it is Shannon. We will see. However, I am not liking that Superman and Zod's suits are the same. Was Superman sent with a suit? Just seems off. We will see, oh and yes, there is a Zod shield symbol. If that is the case, then I may be on board. I like the idea of Zod having a Z symbol for a shield. Check out the last pic that shows the shield.

Secret Identy Gone? 9-14-2011 - As I have stated before, the previous set pictures we received showed Clark Kent without any glasses. I speculated (no pun) that perhaps in this Snyder "film", that Clark Kent has no Secret Identity. Mostly because in Smallville they have Superman merhcandise and items which shows a pride for Superman (landing in Smallville) Also, Clark never wore any glasses in this version either. Now, it would seem that they are doing away with any type of secret identity, which is a massive slap in the face of Superman and his fans. I am starting to wonder if the new 52 version of Superman will also not wear glasses. It is started to look like they really want to change Superman so badly, they have to do it in the most anal way. 9-13-2011 - Oh great. Star Trek 2 will be Directed by J.J. Abrams<----That is SARCASM. Remember, I am a huge Star Trek and Star Wars fan. EQUALLY. Also, NO, I did not like Star Trek 2009. At all. Why? Oh, because is was just not Star Trek. Also, it made as much sense as RED MATTER. Look, I could get into into (I will probably post a list of the ERRORS that is this movie) the whole "This movie sucks!" argument, but not now. Know that: 1. This movie will most likely not be made, and 2. It is taking way to long to produce. 2012 seems doable. 2013 is unlikely due to the huge line-up and 2014 means interest will be lost. 5 years for a sequel? Yeah, right. OH, I can't wait to hear what Simon Pegg says, he frowns upong the changes in the new StarWars Blu-Ray saga, but his Star Trek 2009 is perfectly logical. Not just the attack, but the individuals (Men and Women) who sacrificed their lives knowingly and unknowingly on this grim but UNITING day. I remember 9-11 vividly, as I am sure most of you do as well. I was just newly married, had a new baby girl just a few months before the tragic attacks. Then one early morning, my Mother calls to tell me that something happened in New York and to turn on the T.V. because it looked like a plane crashed into one of the trade centers. No one knew at the time it was a terrorist attack, but we quickly learned the truth. I will always remember that day, and how it united a nation, though briefly. Please feel free to come back.

9-10-2011 - Shoes that Lace up BY THEMSELVESAh, the 1980's. the decade of awesomeness. Also, the decade that gave us BACK TO THE FUTURE and the glorious trilogy that followed. I love Back to the Future, and I love the sequels. This news is a bit old as I have heard about for months now but, here it is again, now that the media took notice. The self-lacing shoes have now been replicated and are now being sold! Sure, I would want the hover board first, but this is just so damn cool! Who's bad?

9-9-2011 - LEX LUTHORWith the Man of Steel filming at this moment, it is hard to imagine that Luthor will still be casted for the movie, at least in any MAJOR role. However, if there is a chance or a small scene with Luthor, I think I know who should be cast as Luthor. Now, remember, keep your minds open and just hear me out. One of the best depictions of Luthor, and most fans agree, would be the Animated Series Luthor voiced by Clancy Brown. Now, it wasn't just the way he was drawn and portrayed (Strong, big and menacing), but it was also how he sounded, deep, dark and smart. So, I think that this actor could really bring something to this role. Who is this actor I speak of you ask? Well, Vin Diesel. Yes, VIN DIESEL. I am being serious. He has the look, he definitely has the voice and yes he is physically imposing. Hell, he is bigger than Cavill. Of course he would never be cast, but I am just saying that Vin could bring a different, darker, more badass Luthor to the big Screen. Also, a battle between Superman and Diesel would be a Marketing DREAM.

9-8-2011 - New Suit in the Works? There is absolutely no proof to this report, and of course it is RUMOR, so take from it what you will. Apparently some random person wrote that there might be a new Superman suit for Henry Cavill due to the backlash of the new suit (especially the bulge and lack of trunks). I get the backlash (not the bulge, never noticed it.), I do not believe at ALL they would make a new suit. Movie is too far into production at this moment.

9-7-2011 - Zod is going to be CGI afterall! You might want to read this quote:

"Yeah, it's one of the most humiliating garments that exists in the known universe, yes. It's very tight. And it's funny because when I met with Zack (Snyder) we were talking about it before it started and he mentioned that there was going to be a lot of CGI, or whatever. I just hope they don't replace the actor with some look a like akin to Dumb and Dumberer or Ace Venture 3 (no look a like, but still1)! Get Keaton and Burton back and ROCK IT! Oh, and throw out the Hawaiian idea out right now! Oh and Ryder, Baldwin and Davis need to be back. 9-6-2011 - Ah, to be divided Do you know what I was told when W. Bush was running this country into the ground? He is our president and we need to support him. Constantly told this over and over by numerous people, especially conservatives. So, when I say they need to back Obama because he is our president, do you know what they say to me? "No way!" or "He's not my president!" or "My goal is to not get him re-elected!". Wow, talk about compromise. Oh wait, that is not something conservatives would know anything about. It is funny, republicans are fine with tearing the country apart, as long as Obama fails. Sick, right? America can crumble and fall, doesn't matter, as long as Obama is a failure. Talk about finely tuned logic. 9-11's 10th year memorial is coming up (just DAYS away), and guess what? They would STILL want to be divided rather than united. I can feel the love for our country.

You would think, since we are just days away from the TEN Year Remembrance of 9-11, that we could stop this petty bickering and whining about the stocks and president and UNITE like we once did. 9-11 is such a huge factor in our lives, and yet we would rather stand divided. How can this keep going on? This "news" saddens me, as it just shows that we have not learned nor grown since that horrid day.

10 Years Later

9-1-2011 - Clark Kent and Superman (no secret Identity?) As I look through the on set photos for Man of Steel, something dawns on me. Clark Kent has no glasses, Superman memorabilia throughout Smallville, and the battle in Smallville. To me, this all adds up to that Superman doesn't have a secret identity. Everyone knows Clark is Superman and the town of Smallville apparently embraces it. Well, if this is the case, I am definitely not a fan of this direction. Take away Superman's secret identity, then you take away a lot of heart and a lot of what makes Superman, well, Superman. Of course, Superman could just reveal his secret identity in the movie, thus starting the chaos in which Zod and Faora bring. Who knows. Check out the pics below:

9-1-2011 - Look, I love Star Wars and Star Trek EQUALLY. I admire Lucas, and I respect his changes to his movies. Can he go overboard? OF COURSE. However, the only issue I have is Luke and Leia knowing they are Brother and Sister. Darth Vader saying No is a bit much as well. Watch the scene below, you will see it is not very powerful. If it is the actual scene. I look forward to the Blu-Ray release, hopefully Lucas tones it down. I bet anything, though, we will see some unwanted surprises. I am still mad about adding Hayden's "ghost" to ROTJ ending. NOT. COOL. LUCAS.

A polar bear attacking and killing a teenager, and then a grizzly bear attacking and killing someone in yellowstone GRIZZLY BEAR ATTACK It seems to me that bears are starting to unite. It just seems odd, or maybe the media is trying to send subliminal message. Why so I say this? Well it could all be because a man shot an endangered bear because it was close to his backyard and children Montana. Just seems odd that there are all these bear attacks.

8-26-2011 - Nice article on Summer Blockbusters Looks like thor was huge over seas. I wouldn't have guessed that. I loved Captain America, sadly, not sure it will resonate overseas. We will see. I could care less about Transformers 3 and I am surprised for the love that Panda 2 has. Didn't do so well here in the states. Pirates didn't either, but tore it UP overseas, which makes me VERY happy. Harry was huge of course, and The Hangover Part II did much better than I thought, and that makes me happy. Enjoy the list!

8-26-2011 - Wait, so there WILL be red Trunks? Comicbookmovie.com is reporting that Superman will INDEED wear his red trunks. Interesting, since every picture we have seen is trunkless. Lets see if this gets confirmed anytime soon. I highlt doubt this is true though.

8-26-2011 - GHOSTBUSTERS 3!!!!Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters 2 are some of my most favorite and cherished movies. I was excited about a 3rd movie and Dan Akroyd has given some nice insight for the 3rd movie and when filming starts. First, I am not digging the premise, Ray is blind in one eye? It doesn't matter if most of the cast returns? He wants the guy Matthew Gray Gubler from Criminal Minds to be in it? Why did he have to kill my arousal? Seriously, RETHINK the premise. I do like the part about a Girl Ghostbuster!

8-25-2011 - Disney Must Be Proud! Brenda Song, the beautiful actress from Disney (The Suite Life) has been knocked up by the very unpretty Brother of Miley Cyrus. Weird, huh? Brenda and Ugly Mc Uglerson, I mean Trace Cyrus will be expecting sometime next year. How wonderful?! Oh well, congrats on the new addition, I hope the baby takes after Brenda Song.

Their economy is so booming that THIS: CHINA ECONOMY DYING is slapping eveyone in the face, yet no hears it! China's economy is so amazing that they have empty cities. CITIES. Wow, they are doing so well. Now their military will be Top Notch as well. When you conterfeit everything, of course you will advance. Their money is worthless, their economy is dying, yet lets scare everyone and say they are BOOMING in both Finances and Military. GENIUS.

8-24-2011 - Steve Jobs steeping down as APPLE CEO Wow, this is crazy. You have to read this article. Not much for me to say other than, I respect Steve Jobs, he was/is kind fo a jerk, but has mellowed out over the years. However, he was/is the KEY reason Apple was/is so successful. Especially now. I wonder if this will make the stocks go down tomorrow? One man has the stock market crashing. How ancient is that? Good luck Steve, and hopefully you decide to return one day.

8-24-2011 - Chris Evans Defined Buff, Cavill Defined Muscle Suit There is a lot of talk about Henry Cavill. Whether he is wearing a muscle suit or is not. Of course he is. And no, Cavill is not that big. I have some nice comparisons of Evans and Cavill. I think the pics speak for themselves. Enjoy. I bet the ladies will.

8-23-2011 - Superman vs. Faoro and Zod (Robot Zod?) Here is a pic of Superman ready to fight Zod (Motion Capture Zod) and Faora. Check the pic out below. A few things. No red shorts look very weird. There has to be SOME red around there. The Boots are ATROCIOUS. The cape is just ridiculous. The guy in the muscle suit doesn't look like Cavill. Which is odd. I do not think that is Zod, as there is a stick on the guy in the motion capture suit, and Superman Looks up at it. Very strange.

8-23-2011 - HP TABLET FOR 99 DOLLARS!!!! Talk about a DEAL. Most tablets cost 250+ or even 700 or MORE!! 99$? I am there. Why is this so cheap? Well, HP no longer wants to make the HP tablets (slates, touchpad and what have you.), you know the tablet with the commercials where they cover their face and talk about the wonders of the HP touchpad? Oh and HP doesn't want to make any more computers either, that is for another story. However, this reduction of price had me thinking, as scary as that sounds. First, the HP tablet have been selling like hotcakes! That 99$ price tag really helped boost sales. Demand is now HIGH. So wait, if a product is priced affordably, that means people will buy them? Even if they are not APPLE or ANDROID? You are darn tootin' they will! I think Apple needs to look at this and learn. Android too, no joke. Imagine if they had devices like the iPad or the Galaxy Tab for 100$-150$ dollars. Wow, talk about people wanting to SPEND money. I can honestly say, I think ANYONE would much rather put down 99$ instead 600$! Apple, LEARN from this. All companies LEARN from this. This type of thinking would HELP the economy. You can still make profit! Quit being so GREEDY! Talk about unAmerican.

Except when they say this: CHINA DEGRADING USA OVER DOWNGRADE Yet, China has faith in us? Aw, sweet. Oh, one issue, why does America even CARE what CHINA thinks? They do not OWN us.
