LEAVE STACEY DASH ALONE!

Did some people forget that America is:
HOME OF THE FREE?

Stacey Dash Sometimes I have to remind people that we live a FREE country. Yeah, crazy, right? Case in point, the Stacey Dash explosion, in which she vocally supported Governor Romney in the supposedly tightly contested Presidential race. So what, right? Well, according to many individuals, including Samuel L. Jackson (an actor whom I LOVE), started to question her sound of mind. In fact, some individuals took the criticism even farther, and insulted Stacey Dash, even threatened her life. Now, this is where I cannot tolerate this type of behavior, it is cruel, unjust and downright Un-American. No one should be threatened for their beliefs, lifestyle, race, religion, or who they support as a Presidential Candidate. Now, Stacey Dash can endorse whomever she likes, if she thinks Rosanne Barr is the better candidate, so be it. Who are we to tell her she should cease to live? Talk about a disgusting act of the American people.

You see, I do not agree with Stacey Dash, in fact, I wonder if she has all the facts at her disposal, but, I will not insult her, or put her down because of it. If Stacey Dash wants to debate her position, excellent, if she doesn't want to defend her position, more power to her because she doesn't have to give us squat. Not our place, and not our right to try and belittle someone. In fact, I am amazed at how Democrats have not backed Stacey Dahs up on this. They should be coming to her aide and show the American people that you can believe in what you want or who you want. These tirades of hate filled twitter remarks or Facebook posts is just the opposite of what the Democratic Party says they are. You do not allow hatred to be spread by your party when your own party decries it. Let me put this way, I will not insult, belittle, name call or threaten ANYONE because they disagree with me. If they become uncivil, then I move on, I am just wasting time, but I will not waste my integrity.

I wonder how much backlash Stacey Dash would have gotten if she wasn't a beautiful woman of African descent? Makes one wonder exactly why she is being singled out for beliefs no one has the right to judge. I have some friends who support Romney, and I am fine with that, as long as they do not regurgitate lies. More often than not, they do not have a real clear reason for liking Romney other than they for some reason hate Obama. Yet, I do not let their beliefs dictate my emotions, I give them the facts, and I move on. That is all one can really do. Is Romney a liar? Yes. Is Ryan a liar? Yes. Will Romney and Ryan lie and manipulate their way into the White House? Of course. Should lying be a barometer for winning in a debate? Absolutely not. So this gives others the right to be jerks to someone else? NO! All we can do is educate them. The truth comes out eventually, and that is what this Presidential Campaign should be about. Truth. Not belittling people or threatening them because they disagree with you and choose another candidate. We must stand up proud and give them facts. That is what will prevail in the end. Why would we resort to their mentality? We must be above that type of thinking, or we are no different from them. However, more importantly, this is the United States of America, and this means we have the FREEDOM of choice. Don't make a mockery of it.
